Fat Gay Tarot is exactly what you think he is. He is a fat, gay tarot reader. Simple, no?

Way back in the mists of time (1998) FGT liberated an under-used and neglected tarot deck from his Dad’s bedside table and he never looked back.

From there his journey in to tarot began. Although it went though some quiet years, in 2015 with the release of Sara Richard’s beautiful, fully painted Justice League deck, FGT realised that he didn’t have to be a traditional tarot reader; he could bring his passions for comic books, the arts, LGBTQ+ activism and more in to his tarot practice not just passively but as an active component of who he is and how we works the cards.

So it was clear; through decks that meant something to him and his querent he could be the kind of tarot reader he really wanted to be; geeky, queer, fun, deep, accessible, open and proud.

Then he started collecting (hoarding) beautiful decks, took some serious training at the College of Physic Studies and, like The Fool at the start of his journey, set off in to the great wide world.

Fat Gay Tarot operates from his tiny house in the least fashionable part of North London where he lives with his incredible husband and their six needy cats.
